The original Raspberry Pi Model B and its successors put a programmable computer within reach of everyone on the planet. Since 2012, millions of people have used a Raspberry Pi to get their first experience of programming, but we still meet people for whom cost remains a barrier to entry. To answer these issues the Raspberry Pi foundation have created their smallest and cheapest Raspberry Pi yet - the Raspberry Pi Zero!

At 65mm x 30mm x 5mm it is the smallest Raspberry Pi to date, but it's still more than capable of running all your favourite applications, including Scratch and Minecraft and programmers and developers will still get a kick out of the 40 pin GPI/O header with an identical pinout to the B+ and Raspberry Pi 2 models, making it even easier to port development projects from one version to another.

Using the Broadcom BCM2835 - which boasts 40% more power than the original Raspberry Pi 1 - it means the playing field has changed once again.
